P7 Science Club

In Science club we entered a regional Science competition at Dundee science centre. We took part in the Forth Bridge Challenge. Our suspension bridge made only from lolly sticks , cable ties and string. Held 28 500ml water bottles before tipping.

We won a trophy for team work and the highest score in the STEM challenge. These are challenges set by employees such as NCR, Michelin etc. We also received £100 and a certificate.

P7 Science Club is now well established with pupils requesting a longer slot from 3:15-4:15.

Having  learnt all about generating electricity, converting energy and insulating and conducting they  are now working on their chosen projects which they hope to teach to the class later this term.
